The Society of Saint Pius X and Church Militant

Over on Twitter, I asked Christine Niles, of ‘Church Militant’, who funded their Spotlight attack on the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X. Less than three hours later she doxed me.
Now, I have less than 800 followers on Twitter; she has 13k, her boss Michael Voris has 24k and a $2 million budget, what does that tell you?
Why would a video I cut for members of a private FB group of a few thousand Catholics cause a leading ‘journalist’ for an international news organization to spend the afternoon digging up dirt on me and posting it on Twitter? What would the goal be if not to frighten other people into silence?
Ms. Niles should have read my blog post about the guy who tried to blackmail me.
Anyway, here’s the video that scared Church Militant/St. Michael’s Media

Be Courageous In Those Dark Places

I mentioned two days ago on a thread about how these “Catholic” Bishops go full SJW over illegal immigration but remain silent in the face of grave evil, and I was told I was guilty of calumny.

It was just a few hours later that the latest bombshell of a decades-long cover up at the highest levels of the Church made the news. It’s not every day validation comes THAT quickly or in such a prominent manner, but…

What are the comments about this scandal on post after post? Along the lines of, “Yeah, everyone knew, but no one could talk about it because he was a powerful Cardinal”.

This, people, is PRECISELY why we much have courage and fortitude and not bend to the threats, name-calling or fear of being disinvited from the ‘right’ cocktail parties. Some of you witnessed how I was attacked just a few weeks ago on my FB timeline for offering gentle correction to a few priests behaving badly, but if you fail to speak up out of cowardice, YOU become culpable for the next victim and the greater scandal that will eventually result.

Losing a FB ‘friend’ is nothing compared to that kind of guilt. Do the right thing, regardless of the consequences! The alternative is too painful, for you, for those you love and those who deserve an advocate.

The Malicious Witness

“Word of the Day: GOSSIP

The other day I heard the first somewhat unflattering description of the behavior of some — some — of our students. It wasn’t that they got drunk, or fornicated, or cheated on papers, or did drugs, or got into fights, as is par for the course everywhere else. It’s that some of the girls engaged in GOSSIP. The trouble is that the walls and floors in the dormitory are rather thin, so that two girls talking about a third girl would be overheard by ten others.

Men GOSSIP too, but it isn’t so much fraught with emotion. Consider it to be another case of a gift gone awry. Women do use words more often than men do, and women are in fact more keenly attuned to the feelings of others. You want that sort of thing in the sex that is to take care of babies and small children. You do not want that sort of thing in the sex that is to hunt buffalo. You want, in the buffalo-hunting sex, a different gift, one that can also be abused or that can harden into something bad: the capacity to bracket your feelings and put them in the closet marked “Inconsequential,” because what counts are not feelings but getting the particular job done. And if the job is complex and risky, like bringing down the buffalo, or building the cathedral, or digging the canal, most expressions of personal feeling are quite simply in the way.… Read the rest
